On Monday the city held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new wax-free tile floor in the civic center ballroom; the upgrade will lower upkeep costs + improve the venue for future events.

Helena replaced the civic center ballroom floor today as the 20-year-old surface had become too worn after hosting thousands of events — the update will improve the space for future gatherings.
