- ➤ Helena teacher Kellen Alger of Jefferson Elementary will be recognized nationally on Feb. 13 in Washington - D.C. after nearly 20 years of teaching, earning the National Education Association Foundation Travelers Award for his engaging classroom methods. KTVH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ East Helena City Council approved a municipal bond application for up to $12 million to fund water, wastewater and transportation upgrades needed before the Rose Hills development on the former Asarco site begins building 1500 homes. City officials say groundwork will start this summer with homes rising in summer 2027. KTVH
