- ➤ On Tuesday, dozens gathered at Headwaters Crafthouse in Helena for a watch party supporting Paralympian Katie Verderber, a Montana native chosen for Team USA’s wheelchair curling team, as Silverman Law Office + Exchange Club of Helena raised $3,500 for power-assist devices on the team’s wheelchairs. - ➤ Helena Middle School principal Cal Boyle will lead Capital High this summer as his predecessor Brett Zanto retires. Officials say Boyle’s appointment will bring fresh energy to the school’s ongoing academic efforts. Independent Record
- ➤ State auditor approval allowed a new school health trust to secure at least 150 school districts, and State Superintendent Susie Hedalen will place $40 million into the trust to support educators and district employees — strengthening school health programs locally. Independent Record
