Good morning, Helena.

Helena residents can join several Easter egg hunts and church services this weekend, with events held in various neighborhoods to celebrate the holiday.

Families are encouraged to verify details locally for times and locations.

Three local ag businesses were awarded USDA grants to expand operations; Mannix Brothers Ranch, Wustner Brothers Honey, and Big Mountain Ciderworks each received $250,000+ to boost their beef, honey, and cider production.

Yesterday, conservationists and volunteers restored 200 ft of the Little Prickly Pear Creek bank using a brushy toe method that cut willow and layered branches to slow erosion + encourage root growth.

The project also served as an educational demonstration for Carroll College students.
