- ➤ Helena Food Share opened a new garden at its facility to support nutrition education and healthier living. Although snow is falling, volunteers have begun succession planting and will adjust garden beds as spring arrives—ensuring a variety of fresh produce throughout the year. KXLH

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Montana's public schools will receive an extra $52.1 million to support teacher salaries and programs starting July 1, following passage of House Bill 15 proposed by Rep. David Bedey. The funding will boost K-12 aid (supporting special and Indian education programs) and help avoid staff cuts (as noted by East Helena Public Schools' superintendent). KTVH
