- ➤ Helena business owner Linda Campbell of Linda’s Bridal Images and Mr. Tux said the company received tariff letters from vendors that triggered surcharges starting at 6 percent and rising to 20% on Monday — leaving the business unsure if it will cover, split, or pass on the extra costs. The surcharges, first noticed a couple of weeks ago, affect dresses made overseas from China, Vietnam, and Canada and impact services for about 40 wedding parties and 300 prom students annually. KTVH

- ➤ Montana lawmakers have debated ending the twice‐yearly clock change for many sessions but did not act on a repeal; a Senate bill in 2021 allowed year round daylight saving time only if the US Department of Transportation and three other western states approved, and a 2025 bill request did not move forward.
