The Helena Mineral Society celebrates 80 years with its annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show this weekend at the Helena Civic Center Ballroom.
The event raffles a 43-pound Lapis Lazuli slab on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. with $10 tickets that support local education.

Helena's ROMEO Club, founded by Otto Hoogendyk and John Miller over a year ago, reviewed Taco Del Sol on Wednesday as part of their effort to spotlight local restaurants.
Their Facebook page has grown from 100 to 1,000 followers and now features reviews using an (E.A.T.S grading scale).
