- ➤ Montanans gathered at the Capitol to mark the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's Midnight Ride and the start of the American Revolution, with community members, veterans, historians + performers watching as two lanterns were lit to honor the past. A day of service is held today to further celebrate the events, an initiative set up by the Montana 250th Commission and approved by the legislature in 2023. KTVH
- ➤ Local veterans with VFW 12177 funded a $5,000 columbarium at the Lewis and Clark County Cemetery—located at 5655 McHugh Drive—to hold at least 20 sets of cremated remains. The columbarium will be finished by May 8 ahead of a 9 a.m. mass burial for veterans and unclaimed remains. Independent Record

- ➤ Just in time for Easter, the Helena Dirty Knees Flower Cart is filled with tulips grown in Yvonne LaFromboise's basement, where she began the cart during the pandemic to find an escape from her healthcare job. - ➤ Helena Public Schools is asking voters to pass a $3 million tech levy in May to replace old devices + boost network systems.
