ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lewis and Clark Brewing Company is installing about 275 solar panels on its brewery roof to produce 150 kilowatt hours of power and lower its energy bill by 30—40% using funds from a large infrastructure bill. Around 200 panels were already in place as of April 22nd and the full installation will be completed in three weeks. KTVH
- ➤ A recent report from the American Lung Association said the Helena area averaged 10 days of unhealthy air each year, ranking 20th in the nation for short-term particle pollution. Lewis and Clark Public Health said exhaust and wildfires drive the pollution—officials monitor levels and issue alerts—and they advise residents to plan outdoor activities with care. KXLH

- ➤ Shodair Children's Hospital announced that Stockman Bank became the premier leadership sponsor of its Hope Campaign with a $250,000 gift to help close financial gaps in mental health, genetic, and allied care services.
