EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rossiter Elementary students raised 100 rainbow trout for release into Spring Meadow Lake as part of the Trout in the Classroom program. The initiative, a partnership with Trout Unlimited + Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, gives hands-on conservation lessons. KXLH
- ➤ Incoming Carroll College freshmen will receive new MacBook laptops provided by a Helena native and his wife (an Apple engineer who helped design them) as a generous donation to support the students. Independent Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Contract crews began tree felling, pruning and slash piling operations in Helena's Mt. Ascension Natural Park on Monday, April 27. The work started in Unit #4 (see attached map) left Archery Range Trail unimpeded, and later this week CRW Resources workers will start in Unit #3. MontanaRightNow

- ➤ Carroll College football returned to Nelson Stadium on Saturday as the Saints hosted their annual spring game — top plays were later shared for local fans. KXLH
