- ➤ The EPA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin soil removal this summer in East Helena to address lead contamination from a historic smelter. More than 100 residents have approved cleanup on at least 91 properties, with priority given to homes with young children. KTVH

- ➤ The Montana Department of Transportation extended the 65-mph zone on Interstate 15 today after designating new road segments urban near South Hills Interchange, and motorists are advised to follow the updated speed limits. Independent Record

- ➤ The former Shopko building at 3101 N. Montana Ave. is being remodeled into six leasable spaces + one of them will be a Dunham’s Sports store scheduled to open soon. The building has been empty since Shopko closed in 2019. KXLH
