- ➤ City records show the former Bob Ward & Sons Sporting Goods building at 3323 Dredge Drive is being remodeled into Buffalo Church with a project worth nearly $1.5 million + the church currently hosts Sunday services at the Great Northern Hotel and will soon move there. KXLH
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire near the intersection of Hiawatha — Choteau Streets on Wednesday afternoon in Helena as authorities investigated the cause. Independent Record
- ➤ A structure on the 2200 block of Choteau Street caught fire at 2:27 p.m. and sustained significant damage as crews nearly extinguished the blaze by 3:30 p.m., with no injuries reported (cause under investigation). KTVH
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Helena Public Schools has brought back its summer SACC program for first through sixth graders, offering activities including science, arts and crafts, reading, guest speakers, and walking field trips downtown; children will walk up to a mile each day while families register with a non-refundable fee.
