EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Friday, Carroll College graduated dogs from its Anthrozoology Program, including three foster dogs, one junior dog, three facility dogs—and three senior project dogs. Students trained the dogs over a nine-month period to help them improve their skills for adoption. KXLH
- ➤ Helena College held graduation ceremonies at its airport (where just over 100 students were honored in 18 study areas) and at its Donaldson campus (which celebrated the first year of its cosmetology program) as graduates moved their tassels from right to left to mark their transition. KTVH
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ East Helena High School’s esports team, the Vigilantes, qualified for LOS Scholastic Nationals in St. Louis in June after winning the state title—but they need to raise about $3,000 for travel expenses. Local support and donations will help the team reach full high school sport status. KTVH
