- ➤ The Helena Bighorns are seeking new billet families to provide housing, food and support for players who travel far to play hockey. Billet families help build lasting bonds between players and local hosts—an important part of the team’s success. KXLH
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Carroll College held its 115th commencement ceremony today where 290 students turned their tassels (from 24 states and 7 countries) and moved on to new stages. Student speaker Marrin Chapman and first-time Master of Social Work graduates, like Kevin Sandoval, marked the milestone (highlighting a fresh chapter for the college). KTVH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Over 120 past and present law enforcement officers were honored Monday at the Capitol Rotunda during a Police Week ceremony. Community members and peers recognized their service — a tribute to years of dedication. Independent Record
- ➤ This week, as part of National Police Week, Montana's DOJ held a ceremony in Helena where the names of 144 fallen officers were read and Deputy Chief Jason Johnson introduced a new chaplaincy program to support officers' mental health and spirit.
