- ➤ Helena College’s EMT department is receiving a donated retired ambulance from St. Peter’s Health to give 18 students real-life training through ride-alongs & emergency department rotations, strengthening hands-on skills for future EMS work. KTVH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri River Treatment plant began operating on Monday to supplement Helena’s water supply during summer irrigation, and some residents observed slight discoloration and odor in their taps. City officials said the water remains safe (flush taps until it clears). KXLH
- ➤ The Montana Department of Transportation will deliver new ambulances to several rural and volunteer EMS providers, including Roosevelt Medical Center, Hill County Ambulance, Community Ambulance Service, Jefferson Valley EMS & Rescue, and Grass Range Quick Response Unit, this spring as part of its EMS Grant Program. - ➤ The state invested $1.2 million to expand psychiatric residential care for youth at Shodair Children's Hospital and Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Monday.
