- ➤ A plaque unveiled on May 20 now marks Helena's Poor Farm cemetery – the resting place for over 380 people – in a residential area off Benton Ave, confirming the historic site discovered using ground-penetrating radar and cadaver dogs. Historians say the plaque honors those once forgotten. KTVH

- ➤ Two Montana youth from Stevensville each received a $3,000 scholarship from a Helena-based nonprofit that supports families affected by veteran suicide. - ➤ By Monday morning, the Jerrico Creek fire burned 2,068 acres, about three times the size of Mount Helena City Park and 16 miles southwest, with crews working on containment after Sunday’s burns.
