- ➤ Sacred Sun Farms will open a new cannabis shop at the former Rodney Street Laundry location in Helena — the Montana chain is set to offer a modern retail experience to local customers. Independent Record

- ➤ The Heritage Tourism Council has launched its second online survey for 35 Actions for 35 Historic Places — results from the first survey are available. Residents can share their views online to help preserve local landmarks. Independent Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Friday afternoon, Montana Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution planted a liberty tree (a bur oak) on the Capitol lawn to honor America 250. A bronze marker will be placed beside the tree later. KTVH
- ➤ Broadwater County and the Montana Department of Transportation will remove the historic Toston Bridge next spring from Toston due to safety risks — components of the bridge will be preserved for display at a local museum. KTVH
- ➤ The Bureau of Land Management is accepting sealed bids for an uneven-aged timber sale on 23 acres northwest of Wolf Creek to improve forest health and lower wildfire risk. Bids are due by June 26 and the winning bidder will be notified after June 29. MontanaRightNow
