The ScareLadies, a Helena group making decorative scarecrows from thrifted clothing, raised over $15K in just over a month to pay off meal debt at Helena Public Schools.
They sold about 25 creations at farmers' markets (and community events) and plan to continue fundraising.
Helena native (Olympian) Konnor Ralph has been named grand marshal of the Last Chance Stampede parade.
The parade will start at noon on July 25 through downtown Helena, followed by an awards ceremony and a fan meet-and-greet.
