- ➤ A wildfire started near the Gates of the Mountains I-15 exit when the Hilger Valley Fire began at 3:15 p.m. and burned 20 acres by 3:45 p.m.—firefighters from DNRC, local agencies and Type 2 helicopters are responding while more resources are en route and motorists are advised to use caution. - ➤ NorthWestern Energy asked the Public Service Commission for a revenue increase of $69.4 million for electricity and $28.6 million for natural gas to help pay for a costly natural-gas plant in Yellowstone County.
