  • Helena Fire Chief Jon Campbell proposed billing fees for certain fire department services during Wednesday's City of Helena administrative meeting to help cover rising costs. He said the idea—similar to cost recovery steps taken in Great Falls, Kalispell, Missoula, and Bigfork—could return over $125,000 annually by charging parties for specific incident responses.  KTVH
  • Helena officials announced the city will begin work on the Kay McKenna tennis courts near the Civic Center in July as crews clean the landscaping.
