- ➤ Former ASARCO employees & their families will gather at Main Street Park in East Helena on July 12 at noon for the second annual Smeltermans Reunion Picnic, marking 24 years since the smelter closed and inviting everyone interested in local history. KTVH
- ➤ Helena’s Lewis & Clark Humane Society has taken in over 220 kittens so far this year and expects the number to keep rising until fall. The shelter needs foster families to care for each kitten—providing food, supplies and medical checkups to help them thrive. KXLH
- ➤ East Helena will host its second ASARCO Smeltermans Reunion Picnic at Main Street Park on July 12 at noon, where former ASARCO employees, their families and interested citizens will gather to reconnect and remember 24 years since the smelter closed.
