State Auditor James Brown announced a program offering illegal multi-level marketing companies a reduced fine of $1,500 if they register before Aug.
31 (30 companies are registered while hundreds may still be unregistered). The program will fully enforce penalties after the deadline to ensure lawful operations statewide.
Lewis and Clark County Public Health reported a chlamydia outbreak with 53 cases versus 31 last year; many cases involve teens and officials urge parents to discuss safe sex and social media while those infected follow treatment guidelines +.
