Montana livestock officials warn Helena residents to be alert for rabies exposure risks from bats statewide and skunks in southeastern areas, following three confirmed bat cases reported this summer in Yellowstone, Gallatin, and Flathead counties.
They advise anyone bitten or exposed to seek medical help and to keep pets vaccinated.
