Fairgrounds organizers and law enforcement have revised traffic flow for the upcoming Last Chance Stampede at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.
Measures include adding signage and directing cars to three free parking lots - especially around the intersection of Custer and Henderson.
Helena's fair week is underway at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds with rides, games, food stands and animal exhibits — including a camel and kangaroo — and concerts that began with Daughtry, while Travis Tritt performs today and a rodeo and parade are planned for the weekend.
🌲 Environment
Montana mule deer fawn numbers surged in Bridger Mountains after a mild winter as surveys showed 53 fawns per 100 adult deer (66% above the long-term average).
Wildlife officials reminded the public to leave fawns alone in the wild.
