- ➤ At the Last Chance Stampede, over 400 4-H members are presenting 1,665 indoor and livestock projects—with some members doing more than 20 projects, like 4-H Ambassador Ayla Mundiger-Adsay—and the fair will feature the Lewis and Clark County Livestock Sale opening Saturday at 9 a.m. and an indoor projects auction at 3 p.m. KTVH
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Emergency responders were called to a small plane crash on July 23 at 9:52 p.m. on the 3100 block of Bozeman Avenue (near Helena Regional Airport); the pilot and his passenger were treated at a hospital (no serious injuries were reported) as investigators continue to review the cause. KXLH
- ➤ Helena Fire Department responded on Wednesday at 9:52 p.m. to a plane crash on the 3100 block of Bozeman Ave near Helena Regional Airport—pilot Larry Brown and his passenger were treated at the hospital and both walked away—and investigators from the NTSB and FAA are reviewing the cause. KTVH

ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The Helena Chamber of Commerce reported that last year the Last Chance Stampede and Fair drew about 50,000 visitors in three days and boosted hotel revenue by roughly $750,000. Local vendors such as SKC Teriyaki owner Toua Moua say the event—a staple for 15 years—supports their summer business and helps them prepare for winter. KTVH

- ➤ On Wednesday morning, about 250 students in grades one to eight practiced football skills at Helena Capital High School’s annual Lil Guys Camp.
