Kim O’Brien has run Emerald Acres, a backyard farm in East Helena for four years that offers fresh eggs, meat, and training aids for hunting dogs—helping locals understand where their food comes from.

Hundreds gathered downtown Helena on Saturday for the Montana Pride parade (drag show) that celebrated love and inclusion, uniting the community with vibrant energy.

Initial testing from July 21 shows PFAS (forever chemicals) were detected in the water at Jim Darcy Elementary, though confirmation has not yet been received.

Helena Public Schools is working with MT DEQ to decide on plans if the results are confirmed before the new school year.
