Rabbi Jeanne Snodgrass (with 15 years of Jewish community experience from Hillel at the University of Missouri, Columbia) started as the new executive director of Montana Jewish Project in Helena this week.

She will lead efforts to build statewide connections and resume fall programming, including Yom Kippur gatherings.

The Helena-Lewis and Clark County Heritage Tourism Council is accepting nominations for its 2026 Historic Preservation awards; entries are due today at 5 p.m. to honor projects that preserve historic buildings (supporting Helena’s unique heritage).
