CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Muriel Fahrion, the original artist behind Strawberry Shortcake and early creator of the Care Bears, visited Helena this weekend for a meet-and-greet hosted by Get Lost Travel—fans gathered downtown on Friday and will join her today at the Montana Club tea room, where tickets are sold out. This event marks her first visit to Montana as she meets fans across generations. KTVH
- ➤ The Montana Heritage Center is building interactive exhibits like a mineshaft and tipis to bring Montana’s history to life. Jacob Franklin from the Montana Historical Society said the 30,000 square-foot center featuring a Homeland exhibit and a Charlie Russell gallery will open in early December with a ribbon cutting and hold a grand opening in June 2026—promising a unique local experience. - ➤ The Blackfeet Reservation has endured a five-year drought that dried up ponds and shriveled pastures, forcing ranchers to cut back on cattle and hurting the local economy.
