Septemberfest returns to Helena this weekend with tens of thousands expected as organizers focus on crowd safety - including a planned soapbox derby with trained volunteers, barriers, law enforcement, and emergency plans for adverse weather.

Last year, donations helped Broadwater Elementary students receive 10 books each as part of KTVH’s annual literacy drive with the Scripps Howard Fund.

The campaign boosted reading skills and excitement at the school (students found it a fun way to explore new books).

Montana State supports wildlife conservation in a new partnership with ZooMontana (the local wildlife center) as Sonny and Goldie begin training to become ambassadors.

They will join zoo staff at upcoming educational events to help locals connect with wild animals.
