- ➤ Helena Sun Run is scheduled for this weekend—helping Helena Food Share raise funds to install solar panels that will supply one third of its annual energy. About 100 participants are registered and registration opens at 9:30 a.m. at the food share. KTVH
- ➤ The Helena Parade of Homes has been renamed and now offers extra events, food, and activities as announced by the Helena Building Industry Association. The tour will run Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with tickets priced at $15. Independent Record

- ➤ On Monday, 150 Helena high school students gained hands-on experience in trades at Steed Industries during Digger Days — they practiced concrete work and crane operations to learn key skills for future work. Independent Record
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ No. 18 Carroll College won its homecoming game by defeating Rocky Mountain College 27-13 on Saturday night at Nelson Stadium. The Fighting Saints started 14-0 with touchdowns from Peter Minnaert and Xzavier Ford — and will face Arizona Christian next week. KTVH
