- ➤ About 80 pheasants raised by inmates were released Friday at Lake Helena Wildlife Management Area in a four-year program by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Montana State Prison that pairs wildlife management with inmate skill building. The release gives local hunters extra chances to succeed when pheasant hunting season begins tomorrow — a program funded by license sales and Pittman-Robertson funds. KTVH
