- ➤ Torgerson's Equipment delivered pumpkins today to every first grader at Helena Public Schools so kids could learn about where their food comes from — each student chose a pumpkin and learned facts about its nature through hands-on activities. The pumpkins, grown in Hutterite colonies outside of Great Falls, may help expand the program next year to East Helena and Montana City. KXLH

- ➤ High schoolers in the Vigilante Story Squad visit Eastgate Elementary each month to read and mentor kindergartners, inspiring young students while building lasting bonds—teachers chose standout students to lead this new program that has also expanded to Prickly Pear Elementary. - ➤ Helena High football will host Great Falls for a home playoff game Friday night at Vigilante Stadium. The No. 4 seed Bengals from Class AA's Western Division will face the No. 5 seed team as they reset their season after a recent loss. KTVH
- ➤ Bill Cooper and Team Grey Bull, a six-man crew from Helena, caught a 398-pound black marlin at Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore Tournament and won over half a million dollars from a $2.7 million prize pool among 139 teams. They fished for 30 hours over three days and will use part of their winnings to cover their entry fee for next year’s tournament. KTVH
