- ➤ On Friday, the Helena Public Schools Board of Trustees selected Slate + RTA as the architect to renovate Capital High School and chose Keith Meyer as their new board member by a vote of 6 to 1; Helena voters approved a $240 million bond in September that allocated over $59,000,000 for the renovations. Keith Meyer, a retired educator, will serve until an election in May 2026. KXLH
- ➤ Former Helena teacher and administrator Keith Meyer was picked for a vacant school board seat; he took the oath of office on Friday and will join the monthly board meeting on Tuesday—serving until May 2026. Independent Record
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Over 700 athletes from 70 teams have gathered in Helena for the Special Olympics Montana basketball tournament that features more than 200 games across 10 venues.
