EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At Friday’s board meeting, Helena Public Schools selected Helena-based Mosaic Architecture to design the new Kessler Elementary School after passing a $43 million bond in September that addressed safety and accessibility concerns; the board also sold $161.5 million in bonds and Mosaic will meet with staff and students next week—work that will create modern, safe facilities for students before the planned fall opening. - ➤ Carroll College will host its first NAIA playoff game at home since 2014—facing St. Thomas from Florida on Saturday afternoon—with coach Troy Purcell saying the team is healthy and guided by strong leadership after an 8-2 season record. KTVH
