  • The Montana Jewish Project hosted a Hanukkah celebration today despite grief over a deadly attack at Bondi Beach that left residents struggling to embrace the holiday. Community members noted that the tragedy surpassed the spirit of hope (amid a wave of antisemitic incidents locally).  KTVH

  • Martin’s Wines closed abruptly on Helena’s walking mall, leaving wine club members frustrated as charges continued after the store shuttered (customers report missing credits and no response from the owner). The Office of Consumer Protection is now receiving reports to investigate the issue.  KTVH

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Western Montana Conservation Commission announced $2 million in EPA funding for green stormwater projects that will transform the Missoula Public Library’s rooftop into a living roof and revamp Father Sheehan Park in Butte-Silver Bow. HEALTH NEWS

  • Helena-based Hands on Global delivered essential medical supplies to a regional hospital in Ukraine + treating wounded soldiers and civilians. The team made the delivery recently as part of ongoing efforts to provide life-saving aid abroad.  Independent Record
